Description
Situated in an isolated corner of Far West Texas, Big Bend National Park is a geological marvel with sea fossils, dinosaur bones, and volcanic dikes that mar the desert landscape. Rafters and canoeists explore the park floating past limestone temples carved by the Rio Grande River. Some discoveries include desert bighorn sheep, American elk, sandhill crane, mule deer, javelina, and a black vulture. Big Bend is part of our National Parks Collection.
