This permanently charged T-bar magnet is great for dragging through dirt to loosen metal debris before collecting it. It has a 41 in. long handle for no stoop retrieval. The curve in the spud is designed to loosen the dirt but not loose the metal that has been collected. This is a multipurpose tool able to reach into small spaces to retrieve ferrous metal objects. The handle is made of wood and the ferrule of aluminum, to lessen the chance of electrocution when getting close to an electric outlet or bare wire.
