This combination grass seed and fertilizer grows grass 2X faster than seed alone when applied at the new lawn rate* and grows in tough conditions*. Use a Scotts spreader to apply per label directions. To apply to new lawns, rake the area to loosen soil and remove any dead grass or debris to ensure seed-to-soil contact. Rake the product into the soil to ensure it is covered just beneath the surface. For overseeding lawns, mow existing grass to approximately two inches in height or at the lowest mower setting then rake to loosen soil before application. For best results, water twice daily for three weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height, and apply Scotts Lawn Food products every 8 weeks through the season to maintain a thick, green lawn.
